The Global Reporting & Analytics Analyst of is responsible for participating in various reporting and analytical projects to support Sherwin Business Services (SBS) initiatives, including the production of various performance and project related reports to internal customers/stakeholders, executive and functional leaders, as well as SBS management. The Analyst will participate in various projects using advanced data modeling and analysis techniques to discover insights that will guide strategic decisions and uncover optimization opportunities. The Analyst will use various tools to provide analytics that will drive operational savings through data-led transformation programs. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS Analytics reporting Design and deliver new dashboard builds and report enhancements for global SBS, including gathering requirements, tracking project status, and sitting in on various reporting project meetings or trainings to build an understanding of new systems and technologies that require reporting. Partner with SBS Reporting and Analytics team to follow their guidelines to ensure standardized data sets, reports and metrics are used which will ensure accuracy and completeness of reports published for team consumption. Design and develop accurate dashboards, reports, and visual aids to inform and influence the decisions of internal clients and business leaders Partner with Digital Technology (DT) department and provide guidance for the development and enhancement of global SBS data sources, acting as a liaison between the Business and DT. Review and monitor data and report for exception criteria Drive continuous improvement Drive successful completion of data insight initiatives. Partner with SBS Reporting and Analytics team to leverage tools which provide insights for global SBS in order to drive operational excellence and improvement opportunities. Identify and implement effective tools to drive efficient and effective reporting Seek opportunities for synergy, improvement, simplification and automation of existing processes and reporting Assist in designing and building of technical processes to address business issues Understand, enhance, and promote internal controls Ensure accuracy and completeness of data and reporting. Produce measurements to track policy compliance. Understand the current control environment and promote standard controls Identify and recommend opportunities to strengthen policies, processes, and procedures amongst business partners Assist with organizational changes and future projects: Assist ongoing and future projects including technology implementations, system enhancements/upgrades and control compliance related to initiatives Assist SBS transition program including, but not limited to, acquisitions/divestiture, global footprint expansion, SBS service expansion, etc. POSITION REQUIREMENTS FORMAL EDUCATION: Required: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Information Systems KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE: Required: 2+ years in Finance areas such as accounts payable, general accounting, payroll, travel & expense, etc., Strong communication skills Strong data mining, reporting and analytical skills Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced work environment Strong customer service orientation Preferred: 1+ years of experience in process improvement experiences and automation Applicable experience in accounting, financial shared services, and/or information systems Strong aptitude with ERP systems, with the ability to promote standard functionality Knowledge of current trends and industry best practices TECHNICAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS: Required: Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform consistently, multi-tasking as necessary, and demonstrating good communication and organizational skills. Must have an aptitude for understanding technical advancements and implementing new systems and enhancements. Ability to interact with all levels of management using strong written and verbal communications. Must demonstrate an aptitude for grasping new technologies and adapting them to S-W business rules Must be able to make logical conclusions based on financial data. Preferred: Automation Anywhere or other robotic process automation tools Oracle Ceridian Dayforce Microsoft Office tools, (Advanced Excel) Database experience Hands on experience with Process mining tools Reporting tools such as Tableau, Business Objects, Discoverer, OBIEE Travel: 10%
