Project Manager

Across our US Studio system or within client development sites, our Digital Engineering teams ideate and develop innovative cloud-based solutions following a Lean-Agile process with DevOps culture. Role: Cognizant is looking for an experienced and innovative Project Manager to serve our diverse base of global clients. Location: New York, NY or Charlotte, NC (Hybrid) You must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future. Responsibilities: Manage each project's scope and timeline Coordinate sprints, retrospective meetings and daily stand-ups Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration Be the point of contact for external communications (e.g. from customers or stakeholders) Work with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests, Manage deadlines and push the team to ensure timeliness Perform risk management to minimize project risks Ensure technical feasibility and resource availability Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occur Help teams implement changes effectively Ensure deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprint Maintain project time frames, budget estimates and status reports Required Skills: Minimum 10+ years of experience in a scrum master role, experience in technical project manager role. Familiarity with software development Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement) Knowledge on Java project development, azure cloud is preferred Applications will be accepted until Nov 4th, 2024. The annual salary for this position is between $81,337 - $141, 500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
