Our work depends on TS/SCI cleared Enterprise Print Systems Administrator joining our team to Support our intelligence customer in St. Louis, MO or Springfield, VA. HOW A ENTERPRISE PRINT SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACTAs a Customer Windows Print Server Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's print infrastructure, ensuring high availability and efficiency of print services. You will work closely with both on-site and remote users to resolve printing issues, coordinate upgrades, and provide expert support for Windows print environments.Key Responsibilities:Design, implement, and maintain Windows print server infrastructureManage print queues, drivers, and printer deployments across the organizationTroubleshoot complex printing issues and provide timely resolutionsConfigure and maintain print security policies and access controlsMonitor print server performance and implement optimizationsPlan and execute print server upgrades and migrationsImplement print accounting and monitoring solutionsDevelop and maintain documentation for print server configurations and processesCollaborate with network and system teams to ensure print infrastructure aligns with overall IT strategyProvide training and support to end-users on printing best practicesManage vendor relationships for printer hardware and softwareWHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:Requirements:Bachelor's degree in IT or related field, or equivalent experience5+ years of experience in Windows server administration, with a focus on print servicesStrong knowledge of Windows Server operating systems and print managementExperience with Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy as it relates to printer deploymentFamiliarity with TCP/IP networking and printer protocolsExcellent troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve complex printing issuesSecurity+ certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hireTS/SCI Clearance required and eligibility to obtain CI PolyAbility to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentWillingness to provide occasional after-hours support for critical print infrastructurePhysical Requirements:Ability to lift and move equipment up to 40 poundsDesired Skills:Experience with enterprise print management software (e.g., PaperCut, PrinterLogic)Knowledge of print security best practices and compliance requirementsFamiliarity with scripting for automated printer deployment (PowerShell, VBScript)Experience with cloud-based printing solutionsUnderstanding of print output management and pull printing conceptsFamiliarity with various printer hardware brands and modelsLocation: Customer SiteUS Citizenship RequiredGDIT IS YOUR PLACE:â— 401K with company matchâ— Comprehensive health and wellness packagesâ— Internal mobility team dedicated to helping you own your careerâ— Professional growth opportunities including paid education and certificationsâ— Cutting-edge technology you can learn fromâ— Rest and recharge with paid vacation and holidays#RoverGSSThe likely salary range for this position is $102,000 - $138,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
