What this job involves - Direct and support the daily operations respective area(s) ensuring that a safe, efficient, and cost-effective delivery of services is provided to the client and building occupants. Provide direct support to field operations and are responsible for performance metric tracking and reporting. Work closely with additional Operations Manager to ensure consistency across regions and utilize specialized talents/skills to streamline projects/processes. Participate in the recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding of refrigeration technicians. Experience managing Union employees, a plus.Your day to day: OperationsCommunicate all owner / landlord processes to ensure full understanding by all engineers and contractors who perform work on the building's infrastructure and functions.Identify and ensure execution of updates and implementation of policies, procedures and best practices.Identify safety hazards, working closely with EH&S and account management team to incorporate the remediation of hazards, ensuring a safe environment for staff.Refrigerant purchases & trackingReportingResponsible for information gathering for business reporting purposes.Tracking SLA performanceTrack work orders in CorrigoManage NTE in work ordersManage Budget/ForecastPeople ManagementOversee the operation, staffing, performance and development of the refrigeration technical team and resources, including performance reviews, and compliance with policies, procedures and training.Know and manage Union guidelines and employees.Experience in oversight of large teams up to or above 20 technicians.OtherAny and all other duties and tasks assigned.Sound like you? To apply you need: Years of relevant experienceExperience in oversight of large teams up to or above 20 technicians.Seven (7) years of technical experience in building engineering with a strong background in technical aspects of packaged HVAC *equipment repair, refrigeration, maintenance and overall system design and application 8+ y ears of experienceSkills and knowledgeProficient in Word, Excel and other Microsoft Office Suite programsStrong organizational and management skillsAbility to multi-task and work both in a team and independentlyAbility to function effectively in a dynamic work environmentExcellent interpersonal and supervisory skills; strong emphasis on customer serviceExcellent business writing and verbal communicationsStrong analytical abilityDetail orientedCustomer/client focuses and ability to accept and manage changeEducation/trainingHS diploma or equivalentCertifications/LicensesCandidate must possess valid Driver's License.Universal EPA certification.#OEjobs#MHVACjobs
