Follow established VA OEMS protocols for ALS patient care. Interacting with guests and team members in a fun, exciting, flexible Part Time job.Performing EMT Intermediate/Paramedic skills per state protocolsAssisting Registered Nurse and other staff with patient care as directedAnswering guest and team member questions via telephone or in personMaintain department vehicles in accordance with company and state OEMS standardsWhat it takes to succeed:High School diploma or GEDCertified as an EMT-Intermediate or EMT-Paramedic in VirginiaMust be 18 years of age or olderAt least 12 months pre-hospital/ER work requiredHold current American Heart Association for Healthcare Provider CPR certification or equivalent/ACLS preferredAbility to work nights, weekends and holidaysMust be a RELEASED Paramedic/Intermediate EMT by Virginia State OMD, in order to work independently as an ALS provider.Compensation: $19.00 an hour.
