Job DescriptionAramark is seeking candidates for a System Patient Dining & Experience Manager position to drive the patient dining programs and patient satisfaction scores at the Jefferson Health System. Manages the patient experience activities and nursing relationships within a hospital system, supporting multiple sites within South New Jersey and the Philadelphia area. This is a customer service/hospitality position representing the food service department to the patients. Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with other departments to provide a unified approach to patient/resident care. Job ResponsibilitiesEnsures the patient dining programs are rolled out and being maintained, including ongoing training of staffOversees the CBORD patient menu system and assists with overseeing the call center. Conducts patient rounding, distributing contact information for each dept. and completes rounding logsEnsures patients know the names of the tray passer.Conducts spot training for food service employees with direct contact to patients.Provides direct information to supervisor and manager for service recovery.Participates in the gridding process.Attends and chairs meetings for patient satisfaction, nurse meetings, client meetings and others as appropriate.Attends department manager meetings and reports findings.Conducts nurse rounding and completes logs sending thank you notes as appropriate.Actively participates in Press Ganey tracking, posting of scores Press Ganey.Completes action item reports and all other necessary reporting daily sending to all appropriate personnel.Supervises, staffs, trains, conducts applicable rounding and manages the performance of the staff on the patient units. Recognizes and adopts activities appropriate to the specific needs of the patient/resident population.Demonstrates knowledge of specific issues directly related to age of patient population.At Aramark, developing new skills and doing what it takes to get the job done make a positive impact for our employees and for our customers. In order to meet our commitments, job duties may change or new ones may be assigned without formal notice.QualificationsBachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.Healthcare Food Service Management experience required.CBORD experience required (both as a user, but also from a programming and subject matter expert perspective).Demonstrated leadership skills including broad knowledge of management practices and good business analysis/project management skills.Proven ability to manage numerous projects, priorities, as well as resources, remotely in a highly dispersed organization.Excellent communication and presentation skills with a range of audiences including clients, front-line managers, and C-level leadersComprehensive understanding of Aramark patient dining programs - Patient Dining Platform, Tray Essentials, Net Menu, CBORD, Patient RoundingStrong business planning skills to complete strategic projects with implications for business areas with rapidly evolving business processes. Must possess a balanced perspective on strategic and tactical issues.Must be willing to travel to different hospital sites within the South New Jersey and Philadelphia area.
