About the Role: As a Control Systems & Instrumentation Technician, you'll be the mastermind behind our manufacturing process improvements. Your mission? To support and advance PLC controls, refine manufacturing methods, and help our teams reach new heights in production excellence. From enhancing robotic control systems to troubleshooting complex equipment issues, you'll be at the heart of our engineering innovation. What You'll Do: Be the Tech Wizard: Leverage your programming skills to tackle PLC and HMI systems like a pro. Solve Complex Puzzles: Troubleshoot equipment failures and run system tests to keep everything running smoothly. Invent & Innovate: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new control methods and elevate our manufacturing processes. Design & Document: Create detailed electrical designs, schematics, and AutoCAD drawings to support new equipment standards. Lean & Mean: Drive productivity improvements and minimize waste through Lean Manufacturing principles. Startup Guru: Play a key role in the launch of new equipment and ensure seamless integration. Key Dimensions for Success: Reduce Downtime: Slash control-related failures and third-party costs. Tech-Savvy Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, computer literacy, Industrial Automation: Proficient in Studio 5000 and other automation software tools used in industrial control systems. Problem-Solving: Capable of diagnosing and troubleshooting control system issues in real-time. PLC Programming: Experienced in programming, configuring, and maintaining PLCs for automated equipment. Detail-Oriented: Complete tasks efficiently and accurately with top-notch organizational skills. Communication Skill: Stellar written and verbal communication is a must. Who You'll Work With: Maintenance Team: Collaborate on equipment issues and improvements. Manufacturing Managers: Partner to ensure control systems meet operational needs. Engineering Team: Work closely to drive advancements and solve complex problems. Qualifications: Education: Degree in Electrical Technology preferred. Experience: Proven skills in PLC and HMI programming, motion control, and vision systems. Robot experience is a bonus! Skills: Ability to troubleshoot control systems, configure HMI/IIOT systems, and solve problems with a realistic approach.
