The Opportunity:You will be responsible for all Competitive Intelligence (CI) support for the TA globally, leading to actionable insights.This role will be critical for investigating, and answering key business questions globally, influencing Forecasting, Market Research, R&D and contributing to strategic decisions for various programs across the organizationThe role:Primary point of CI contact across several TAs (including, but not limited to, Transplant & Immunology, Hematology). Will support CI Lead to support business decisions at SVP/VP/ Leadership level to help make strategic business decisionsDevelop and handle a range of intelligence requests, from earnings analysis to in-depth competitive studies, market landscape assessments, and data-driven dashboardsProactively monitor top competitors and develop competitive analyses to support communications to key teams outlining potential impact to CSLLead CI activities at scientific congresses, ensuring cross-functional participation in defining key business questions and generating insights.Track key market trends, predict high impact changes, and develop opportunity assessments across marketsOversee a team of internal and/or external consultants, manage and mentor them according to the best practices and quality standardsStay up to date with recent technologies and tools to enhance efficiencies & productivityShare best practices and foster cross TA learningYour skills and experience:BA/BS degree required. Masters, PhD or equivalent graduate degree; life science discipline a plusMinimum 10 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry; plus at least 3+ years or experience working within CI teams in biotech/pharma industry,Experience in rare diseases within a CSL Behring focused therapy area as well as specialty product analytics is considered a plusExpertise in conducting primary and secondary competitive intelligence within the biopharma industry with understanding of the CI compliance and SCIP guidelinesExperience and ability to integrate marketing and science in multiple disease states and therapy areas. Experience with clinical data interpretation as well as competitive intelligence is importantAbility to extract key insights from CI research, and communicating them clearly to cross-functional stakeholders at various management levelsDeep knowledge of various syndicated CI data-sources, vendors and systems - both global and regional; and their capabilities/limitations related to competitive insights deliveryStrong interpersonal skills to quickly build rapport and credibility with organization leaders and key external stakeholdersExcellent communication, and relationship-building abilitiesExperience managing a budget and CI vendorsOur BenefitsCSL employees that work at least 30 hours per week are eligible for benefits effective day 1.
