Description The Electrical Panel Assembler assembles or modifies electrical or electronic equipment, such as machines, sub-assemblies, and electronic motors.Essential FunctionsPerforms typical production shop operations to support the production departmentReads and interprets schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports to determine materials requirements or assembly instructionsAssembles electrical or electronic systems or support structures and installs components, units, subassemblies, wiring, or assembly casings, using rivets, bolts, soldering or micro-welding equipment.Adjusts, repairs, or replaces electrical or electronic component parts to correct defects and to ensure conformance to specifications.Explains assembly procedures or techniques to other workers.Drill or tap holes in specified equipment locations to mount control units or to provide openings for elements, wiring, or instruments.Confers with lead and/or manager to plan or review work activities or to resolve production problems.Inspects or tests wiring installations, assemblies, or circuits for resistance factors or for operation and record results.Mark and tag components so that stock inventory can be tracked and identified.Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulationsRequired Education and ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED3 to 5 years of electrical assembly experiencePreferred Education or Experience· Safety TrainingOriginal Posting Date:2024-10-21While subject to change based on business needs, Leidos reasonably anticipates that this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days with an anticipated close date of no earlier than 3 days after the original posting date as listed above.Pay Range:Pay Range $42,250.00 - $76,375.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
