In addition, responsible for keeping all customers satisfied and happy with the company as their distributor and to accommodate them as best possible. Solves customer problems of a complex nature and deal with a variety of variables in situations where standardization may not exist. Works to ensure CSR staffing levels are sufficient to meet business needs. Trains new customer service representatives. Communicates and interacts with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:Supervises associates to include, but not limited to: staffing, training, coaching, performance management and problem resolutionCoordinate and oversee the input of customer orders, credits and invoicing and ensure accuracy; back up as neededAssist customer service representatives with difficult or complex customer orders and problems, vendors and department interactionsProvide informative and professional assistance when working with the public, customers, vendors, and co-workersLead and train new customer service representatives; facilitate and / or schedule training and Customer Service meetingsDevelop spreadsheet reports as requested by managementPerforms other related duties as assignedCustomer Service department has year-round coverage of Sunday - Friday, with the addition of Saturday coverage during the busiest times of the year. The schedule for this position is normal business hours Monday - Friday, however, some weekend work may be required.Qualification:High School Diploma2 - 4 years of experience in customer service or related area in foodservice setting.Experience managing 5+ peopleCompany descriptionPerformance Foodservice, PFG's broadline distributor, maintains a unique relationship with a variety of local customers, including independent restaurants and hotels, healthcare facilities, schools, and quick-service eateries.
