Develops, implements, authorizes, and revises Standards of Nursing Practice and Care.Develops, implements, authorizes and revises policies and procedures which define how nursing care is assessed, assigned, evaluated and met during admission, diagnosis, planning, treatment and discharge processes.Assures medication and administration system complies with laws, regulations, licensure and professional standards of practice. Monitors the storage, distribution, control, preparation and dispensing of medication in collaboration with Pharmacy Contractor and Medical Staff.Approves and audits medical record documentation methods for nursing care. Ensures appropriate, ongoing education and training on relevant clinical topics and skill development.Supervises Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) waived testing on all nurses and medical assistants.Education And ExperienceRegistered Nurse with minimum 3 years of Management experience Experience working with individuals with mental health and addiction disorders preferred.Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) and/or Master's degree preferred.Unencumbered Nursing License from the state of Georgia or Cooperative Multi State Compact.EEO StatementAll UHS subsidiaries are committed to providing an environment of mutual respect where equal employment opportunities are available to all applicants and teammates.
