Full-time schedule: Wed-Sun, 3pm-11pm A WNY non-profit has a need for a Stationary Engineer. The Engineer is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the central Utility Plant Systems including BAS, boilers, chillers, emergency generators and all associated sub-systems. Duties include: Maintaining safe and efficient operation of building systems and installing/repairing equipment accordingly Ensuring proper operation of chillers, boilers, emergency generators, machinery, pump, etc. Observing, interpreting and maintaining BAS Maintaining daily logs of operation, maintenance, safety Testing boiler water quality and taking corrective action as necessary Responding to and resolving HVAC issues Job Requirements Minimum high school diploma or equivalent Valid City of Buffalo Stationary Engineer License (1st or 2nd class) EPA certification or willingness to obtain 3-5 years of Stationary Engineer experience 3+ years of steam boiler, steam distribution system, chemical treatment/testing/analysis experience Training or experience in BAS is required Experience working with chillers, cooling towers, AHUs, air compressors, heat exchanges, exhaust systems, VAV pneumatic controls is strongly preferred Experience with electrical and mechanical building equipment is preferred Knowledge of handling refrigerant and following EPA guidelines for recovery and disposal is preferred Key Resource Group, LLC considers applicants for all positions without regard to gender, race, color, religion, national origin, ancestry, age, marital status, sexual orientation, pregnancy, physical or mental disability, citizenship, veteran status, gender expression and/or identity, or any other class protected by federal, state, or local laws.
