Our client, a leader in the automotive industry, is currently looking for a Division Controller due to continued growth. The Division Controller will oversee the accounting practices of multiple auto dealerships in Pennsylvania. The Division Controller must have industry experience and exposure to Reynolds software to be considered for this role.Division Controller:The primary duties of the Division Controller include managing activities of all accounting personnel within their division. The position requires processing and generating financial data for all dealership departments, which together represent the accurate financial condition of the business. The Division Controller identifies problem areas and opportunities for improved cash flow and profitability.Responsibilities:Overall responsibility for hiring, training and management of all accounting personnel working with multiple luxury dealerships generating over $350 Million in annual revenue.Continually strives to improve data integrity and information reporting throughout the division.Supervises timely preparation and submission of monthly financial statements prepared in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.Reviews accounting schedules and ensures that all general ledger accounts and manufacturer accounts, including warranty claims, rebates, interest protection, and co-op advertising are current and accurate.Reviews reconciliations of general ledger accounts, including various accounts, factory payables, and floor plan payables, and verifies accuracy of reconciliations with outside sourcesInterprets financial statements and daily operating control reports regularly and informs senior management of developing trendsParticipates in the preparation of short-term and long-term financial forecasts for the divisionSupervises the preparation of all information provided to outside auditors and tax preparers to ensure accuracy of information provided and minimize costsQualifications of the Division Controller:5+ years of accounting experience in an automotive industry, including 2+ years in a management roleExperience with Reynolds DMS softwareAbility to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusionsProficiency with MS Office and related software productsStrong communication skills and ability to work well with dealership operating teamsIf you're interested in this Division Controller opportunity, email Jared.Scholl@, with a copy of your resume, for immediate consideration.
