We provide priority vaccine access, a ready supply of quality PPE, and up-to-date training.Position Overview: Responsible for supervising the personal care, companion and skillednursing services provided by company's direct care staff; coordinating clinical services, andensuring quality of care of clients in assigned area. Duties include performing in-the-homeassessments to determine support and clinical needs, conducting regularly scheduledsupervisory visits of clients, documenting visits, and orientation and training of caregivers asneeded. Performance of skilled tasks may be required.Responsibilities Ensures that initial assessment and reassessment (supervisory visits) are performed timely asrequired by rules and regulations. Supervises and evaluates the reassessment (within ten days) and skilled work performed byLPNs as defined by Company policy. Ensures that client care issues, changes andor updates are documented and communicated tobranch staff, direct care staff, case management and family. Reviews HRST and other documentation as required for DD cases, meeting with branch staff,direct care staff, family and DD support team as necessary to understand and advise on clinicalissues. Provides or oversees the clinical orientation of new employees, including initial competencyevaluation and training of staff as needed Performs written Annual Competency Evaluations of all direct care skilled personnel (RNs andLPNs) and non-skilled personnel (CNAs and PCAs). Participates in periodic conference with theBranch Manager concerning direct care staff performance. Assesses and recommends solutions in areas of risk for clients, staff and organization Reviews and corrects documentation errors according to currently accepted standards ofmedical practice. Ensures appropriate follow through and completion of documentation for incidents of clinicalnature. Provides PRN visits as necessary per Company policy andor as directed by supervisor. Completes clinical audits as requested by supervisor. Ensures the compliant maintenance of TB testing supplies and proper disposal of syringes.Qualifications Registered Nurse with valid license in state of GA Demonstrate high level of organization and communication At least 24 months of prior nursing experience, preferably within a multiple location environmentKnowledge And Skills Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess situations and make accurate observationsin the workplace Knowledge of health administration regulations and standards, health informationmanagement, and Medicaid, Waiver and Home health service lines Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and aptitude to learn new applications Works accurately, efficiently, and independently Flexibility and ability to prioritize work with minimal supervision in a fast paced, high productiveenvironment Ability to maneuver multiple databases in the collection and submission of information Multi market or multi-site leadership experience (preferred)
