We're looking for a Senior Strategist who lives and breathes social media, is deeply curious about the culture and trends that drive conversation and interaction, and knows how to translate insights into smart, actionable strategy.Reporting to the VP of Talent & Creator, this role sits at the intersection of creativity and analytics. The Senior Social Strategist will partner closely with clients"”both existing and prospective"”to uncover business needs, decode shifting consumer behaviors, and shape compelling brand narratives across platforms. They'll feel confident leading their own research, from social listening to competitive analysis, and translating findings into briefs that inform social-first activations of all sizes.As with all roles on our team, we're looking for someone curious, collaborative, creative, and self-driven. Success in this role relies on strong communication skills, a sharp editorial eye, and the ability to inspire both clients and creative teams with strategic storytelling.Key ResponsibilitiesSocial Strategy & Messaging DevelopmentLead the development of comprehensive, channel-specific social strategies across core and emerging platforms (TikTok, Instagram, and others such as Substack)Build brand narrative frameworks that align with priority products and creator/talent-led initiativesCraft messaging that resonates with target audiences, driving engagement and emotional connectionCreate and manage monthly content calendars outlining themes, topics, and recommended posting schedulesCultural Listening & Competitive AnalysisConduct weekly social listening to monitor industry trends, creator movements, and emerging behaviorsTrack competitive activity and platform updates to identify whitespace and threatsDeliver monthly insight reports with actionable recommendations for optimizing content and strategyTrendspotting & Opportunistic ContentIdentify real-time opportunities to participate in cultural conversations in a way that feels authentic and on-brandOffer timely content and activation ideas to ensure the brand remains relevant and responsivePartner with creative teams to bring reactive ideas to life quickly and effectivelyClient & Cross-Functional CollaborationLead the strategy development process on key accounts, serving as a thought partner for both clients and internal creative teamsWrite clear, inspiring briefs that bridge insight and creative opportunitySupport the development of strategic narratives for new business pitchesProvide constructive, insightful feedback during the creative processThis is a new and essential role within the team, with the opportunity to significantly shape the way we think about content, culture, and connection in the digital space.
