ABOUT THE DAIRY ALLIANCE: The Dairy Alliance is a non-profit funded by dairy farm families of the Southeast. We work diligently with dairy farmers, schools, sports teams, health professionals, local organizations, state leaders, the media, and the public to promote dairy foods and knowledge about the dairy industry. Our efforts center in eight states: Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia.POSITION SUMMARY:The Dairy Alliance is seeking an innovative and experienced Senior Marketing Services Manager to oversee and manage daily marketing operations. This role is essential for ensuring that all marketing initiatives align with the organizations strategic goals. The Senior Manager will be responsible for creating and implementing the framework and policies for the Marketing Services Department, leading project management processes, and ensuring that all brand standards are upheld. This ensures that all projects are delivered efficiently, effectively, and on time. The ideal candidate will possess proven leadership abilities and a strong background in marketing, strategic planning, and project management governance. In this pivotal role, you will support the project leads of key strategic charters, including Dairy Transformation, Growth, Sustainability, Investor Relations, and Health and Wellness. Additionally, you will oversee a team of two marketing employees, with direct responsibility for supervising, developing, and successfully coaching them to reach their potential. This position requires a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership abilities, a thorough grasp of marketing principles, and expertise in project management.The role also encompasses overseeing and managing activities that support and fulfill the organizations mission: Everything we do is market-focused and proactively promotes and protects the interests of the Southeast dairy farm families.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Cross-Functional Collaboration: Leads cross-functional meetings to understand stakeholders needs and timelines, ensuring the implementation of brand standards and marketing strategies for timely delivery.Strategic Planning and Governance: Develops and implements Marketing Services PMO strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure alignment of projects with organizational goals and objectives. Establishes project governance frameworks and standards.Project Oversight and Management: Leads the portfolio of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Monitor project progress and performance, providing regular updates to senior management.Resource Management: Allocates resources effectively across projects based on priorities and availability. Manages project budgets and ensure efficient use of resources. Coordinate with other departments to secure necessary resources.Process Improvement: Continuously evaluates and improves project management processes and tools.Implements best practices and industry standards.Ensures compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements.Stakeholder Communication: Communicates project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders in addition to ELT when applicable.Facilitates collaboration and communication between project teams and stakeholders.Builds and maintains strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of project managers and support staff fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development in addition to conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback.Performance Analysis: Monitor, analyze, and report on delivery KPIs quarterly.Budget Management: Works with the finance office to ensure that all vendors are paid in a timely manner and all invoices are billed to the proper program, with strict adherence to Board-Approved Budgets.Culture Advocate: Models behavior supports The Dairy Alliance culture and supports/advocates culture commitments. Organizational Compliance: Must comply with the standards, policies and procedures outlined in The Dairy Alliance Employee Handbook.Reporting: Submits admin reports to the Director of Digital Marketing on time for approvals.Communication: Responsible for keeping the Vice-President of Strategic Marketing, Director of Digital Marketing, and others informed of projects, challenges and risks that would jeopardize on-time delivery. POSITION REQUIREMENTS:Education:Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Project Management or a related field. MBA, Master's degree preferred.Certifications:Project Manager CertificationAssociate Project Management CertificationAny additional relevant certifications are a plusQUALIFICATIONS:5-7+ years of experience in marketing, project management leadership and execution Proven experience in a senior project management role, preferably as a PMO Director or similar.Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.Able to prioritize responsibilities with the appropriate level of urgency, able to listen and use this information to solve problems, anticipate issues and make correct decisions based on a variety of situations.Must have superior communication skills; verbal, written and interpersonal skills; able to listen effectively to solve problems, anticipate issues and make effective decisions.Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines consistentlyProficiency required in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel & PowerPoint and virtual meeting platforms - TEAMS, ZoomProficiency with project management software and tools.Must be capable of using and operating all equipment as required, including but not limited to, laptops, phones, etc.Ability to make timely decisions in line with strategic goals: understand business implications of decisions.
