Account Supervisor, Consumer & Lifestyle JONESWORKS, strategy-driven communications, marketing, and management agency, is seeking a driven, creative, and highly organized Account Supervisor (Consumer & Lifestyle) in our NYC office!The ideal candidate will be an innovative and savvy seasoned publicist with experience driving, managing, and executing impactful PR campaigns for our consumer and lifestyle clients. In addition, the candidate must have a deep understanding of the ever-changing media landscape and the ability to lead strategic counsel, internally and externally, to successfully align our client's objectives with impactful earned media ROI.Core Responsibilities:Effectively coordinate and manage press coverage to strategically position popular brands in the consumer and lifestyle space Develop creative and innovative, results-driven public relations and marketing programs to support client objectives, launches, activations, etc.Act as project manager, leading coordination with outside partners, agencies, and brandsSpearhead ever-evolving client strategies to ensure client objectives and goals are achievedOversee coordination with outside partners, agencies, and brands acting as day-to-day client contact when appropriateSupport integrated client campaigns through a demonstrated, working knowledge of social influence, emerging digital platforms, and creative problem solvingAct as day-to-day client contact and address client issues thoughtfully and effectivelyManagement and investment of Senior Account Executives, Account Executives, and Account Coordinators with a positive and proactive attitude while giving appropriate feedback to team members and delegating account projects appropriatelyLead daily client public relations account activities including developing and managing weekly timelines and action plans to effectively execute campaigns and client plans to ensure that all deadlines are metFinalize necessary media and client-facing materials Staff client events such as press tours, red carpets, photo and content shoots, media days, etc.Maintain sound judgment and discretion when handling sensitive and confidential informationRecognize potential client complications, flag to supervisor, and provide brief S.T.A.R. analysis for remedyMedia Relations:Oversee execution of PR programs which may include partnerships, activations, showroom appointments, media events and desk sidesOversee execution of PR calendar, developing story ideas and creative pitches for targeted mediaManage and facilitate key media placementsAggressively pursues new media angles and story opportunitiesActively networks with media across consumer, lifestyle, fashion, business, and trade outlets and maintains strong relationshipsOversees media lists with junior staffRequirements:6+ years of relevant PR experience across a variety of lifestyle clients with deep fashion expertisePossess solid understanding of the fashion industry, fashion trends, and pop cultureExtremely organized, detail-oriented, and able to execute multiple projects simultaneously in a high-pressure, fast-paced environmentProven success in securing major media opportunities, including press coverage in fashionStrong media relations with consumer, lifestyle, fashion, and consumer mediaExceptional written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated ability to communicate efficiently and effectively proven in writing, editing, and pitching skillsAbility to take direction from Supervisor(s)Meets deadlines without sacrificing qualityBenefits:JONESWORKS offers medical, dental, vision and 401(K), unlimited Paid Time Off, Summer Fridays, Extended PTO for December/January holiday, bonus incentives and other perks!Salary: $70-105K We are an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
