Position Overview: The Marketing Product Data Specialist plays an instrumental role by supporting our customers e-commerce efforts by facilitating data syndication requests. This person also supports the product data team with e-commerce and new item setup projects. Responsibilities:Customer Data Syndication: Work directly with customers to understand their data requirements and facilitate the syndication of product data from the Salsify PIM to their systems. Provide timely and efficient responses to customer inquiries related to product information. Customer Data Project Organization: Keep an organized log of customer data projects in Wrike so that project priority can be determined, and turnaround times can be communicated. Product Data Gathering: Collaborate with the Product Development team to gather, review, and edit (as needed) any product data missing to complete customer data requests. Online Retailer Data Optimization: Research data optimizations and strategies to enhance product visibility and performance on online retail platforms. New Item Set-Up: Assist the Marketing Data Specialist with curating raw data to prepare it for the PIM and future data syndications. Requirements:Bachelors degree in data sciences, computer sciences, marketing, analytics, or a related field preferredProven experience in data management, preferably in a product marketing contextFamiliarity with Product Information Management (PIM) systems (Salsify is a plus)Excellent Microsoft Excel skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills for customer interactionsDetail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and completenessAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlinesPHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to occasionally sit, climb or balance; the employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; talk or hear.
