Head of MarketingThe Sage Groups' client is seeking a Head of Marketing. They are a fast-growing cybersecurity startup on a mission to be the go-to platform for all the organizational app-sec needs, from real-time protection to code remediation.As our first marketing hire, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our go-to- market strategy and scaling our demand generation engine from the ground up. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact and grow with us.Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute a full-funnel demand generation strategy across content marketing, email campaigns, events, and paid channels.Build and optimize our marketing tech stack and analytics infrastructure to track, measure, and scale marketing efforts.Create compelling content tailored to technical decision-makers, including whitepapers, case studies, blog posts, and thought leadership pieces.Design and implement lead scoring, nurturing, and qualification processes to improve conversion rates.Partner with sales to ensure alignment on messaging, lead quality, and pipeline goals.Manage the marketing budget, vendors, and agencies, ensuring clear ROI on all initiatives.Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform strategy and positioning.Required Qualifications:5+ years of B2B marketing experience, with a strong focus on demand generation and pipeline growth.Proven trackrecord of buildingand scaling marketing programs that drive measurable business results.Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo) and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Tableau).Deep understanding of B2B technology marketing.
