We are looking for a Social Media & Advocacy Assistant Manager for a top beauty company in a hybrid role in El Segundo, CA!Responsibilities:Aid in brand awareness and foster brand love through management of our community communicationsManage and monitor community inbounds across all social platformsConduct positive, proactive and consistent engagement with fan queries, consumer/creator content and industry trendsHelp refine and articulate the authentic voice on social media through engaging copy/captionsCommunicate with the customer service team on product orders and promotionsDemonstrate ability to spot potential crisis and escalate consumer inbounds that need attentionSupport proactive and reactive organic relationship building with influencers and communityFoster development of new relationshipsSupport ordering of product for send outs to seed and support growing community of fans!Provide support to social media lead on additional related requests, including but not limited to:Engage in social listening to identify and act on trends with agile content creationBring product education to life via engaging social contentSupport content capture at events and on set where applicableIdentify, source and secure organic UGC opportunities to insert in to owned brand social contentCollaborate and align with key partners to ensure marketing campaigns, new product launches, events and partnerships are supported on socialSupport analytics and reporting via daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reportingUtilize data-driven insights to refine community management strategies, ensuring content effectiveness and continuous improvementShare back weekly and monthly community insights and metrics for cross-functional tracking and reportingGenerate competitive reports and engage in competitive outreachRequired Qualifications:2+ years in social media management and community managementExcellent verbal communication and writing skillsPassion for storytellingA creative eye to curate cohesive tone of voice in community managementAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentSelf-starter with an entrepreneurial spiritEnthusiastic attitude and flexibility to adapt to a rapidly changing marketplacePassionate about social and digital media with an eye for trendsStrong collaboratorPassionate about makeup and pop culture, beauty enthusiast is a plus!Willing to work some nights and weekends as neededExperience with content creation is a plus but not mandatoryAbility to commute to our Los Angeles office 3 days a weekPlatforms used: Creator iQ, Cerby, Talkwalker, SPRINKLR, TRAACKR, Opera, ResolverIf you meet the required qualifications and are interested in this role, please apply today.The Solomon Page DistinctionSolomon Page offers a comprehensive benefit program for hourly employees.
