Client Overview: Our client, skincare brand, is seeking a Social Media Manager to join their team.You must have beauty experience - specifically skincare or body care brands to be considered for this role!Social Media Manager Responsibilities:Develop and execute a compelling, platform-native social media strategy for Instagram, TikTok, and emerging channelsOwn the content calendar, aligning weekly and monthly plans to brand campaigns, product launches, and cultural momentsTrack platform trends and innovations to ensure our content stays relevant and differentiatedLead all community engagement"”respond to DMs and comments, foster conversations, and act as the brand's voice in real timeBuild strong relationships with our most loyal followers, brand fans, and customersMonitor sentiment and surface insights from the community to inform content and product directionCapture photo and video content (primarily on iPhone, with occasional use of professional equipment depending on experience)Be comfortable both behind and in front of the camera; act as on-screen talent when neededEdit and produce platform-specific content for Instagram, TikTok, and Stories/ReelsEnsure all content aligns with our brand's visual identity and toneManage relationships with influencers and content creatorsPartner with creators to co-develop content, ensuring it feels organic and performs across platformsSource and manage user-generated content and ensure proper usage rightsTrack and report on KPIs (engagement, reach, conversions, etc.) to measure performance and refine strategyUse data to inform creative testing and optimize content for better resultsSocial Media Manager Qualifications:Deep familiarity with and passion for social media, especially Instagram and TikTokBeauty industry experience required Minimum 5+ years of post-college experience, with at least 3 years in content or social media rolesOn-camera confidence with a strong, relatable screen presenceiPhone-native photo and video production skills; bonus if experienced with tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or InShotStrong writing skills and an instinct for brand voice and storytellingExperience working with influencers or creators, preferably in a brand or agency settingExperience with social media scheduling and analytics tools (e.g., Dash Hudson, Later, Sprout Social)Proactive, collaborative, highly organized, and detail-orientedEnthusiastic about skincare, beauty, wellness, or lifestyle contentBachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
