And we do this work out of Care for our people, customers, communities, and the planet.  We're a company committed to a culture of belonging, where all our people are encouraged to be themselves and grow their careers in an equitable environment.  Learn about SKF at . Key responsibilities:Direct the activities of manufacturing to maximize personnel & equipment resourcesInterface with Supply Chain to determine priority product & communicate changes to floorInterface with QC Personnel to maintain acceptable "hit rate" & communicate inspection results to floorAnalyze product flow & processes to establish the lowest product cost & highest qualitySupport the Preventive Maintenance ProgramProvide technical support for the solution of plant problemsSupport the EPA activities for the facilityDevelop process & product improvements to improve cost, quality & new productsProvide support for capital projectsOrganize and lead special process teams, as required, to meet business objectivesSupport the SKF drawing control systemAssure compliance to ISO/AS and Nadcap requirementsMaintain production lot traceability, including nonconforming productAssure compliance to the Tooling Control Program, including approval of modifications and in-house manufacturingAssure product is not processed with uncalibrated thermal equipment or controlsApprove design of baskets or fixtures for heat treatment Job Education, Experience and Requirements:Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) in Mechanical, industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or Manufacturing Technology Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience.Knowledge and experience with Lean Manufacturing Structured problem-solving skillsExperience with ERP systemsEffective communication and presentation skillsWork in a safe manner at all times, alerting management of hazardous conditions. Assure satisfactory levels of cleanliness and housekeeping in all assigned areas.Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, written, verbal and organizational skills.
