Executive Director

The Mental Health Association of Mercer County is seeking an Executive Director to lead their small non-profit organization in providing services to mental health consumers in a rural community. The Executive Director will oversee staff in the areas of Social Security Rep Payee, Housing, and Socialization, as well as work on growing services and rebuilding the Board of Directors. The ideal candidate will be a visionary and mission-driven leader who can work closely with the board and staff to further the organizations mission.The Executive Director will be responsible for creating a strategic organizational plan and implementing initiatives to expand services and improve the organizations impact. They will work with a dedicated team and board members who are committed to serving the mental health community. The incoming ED will also be tasked with managing staff, including rep payee associates, a finance director, and a part-time handyman, to ensure the smooth operation of the organization.The Executive Director role at the client offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of mental health consumers in the community. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mental health advocacy and a strong commitment to the organizations mission. They will work closely with the board and staff to lead the organization through a rebuilding phase and help it grow and expand its services to better serve its clients.
