This role will have report into the General Manager at the plant and will have a small team reporting into them. This role involves developing and implementing policies, conducting risk assessments, managing security operations, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, including OSHA, FDA, EPA, and ISO 45001. Relocation can be provided.Job DescriptionThe EHS Manager - Manufacturing will be responsible for the following: Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS):Develop and implement EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and ISO 13485 standards.Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and inspections; implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).Oversee hazardous materials management, including proper handling, storage, and vestigate incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.Lead EHS training programs and ensure all employees and contractors are aware of safety protocols.Manage emergency preparedness programs, including evacuation drills and crisis management procedures.Track and report EHS performance metrics, driving continuous improvement initiatives.Security:Develop and implement security policies and procedures to protect personnel, property, and intellectual property.Manage site access control systems, security cameras, and visitor management protocols.Conduct security audits, vulnerability assessments, and emergency response drills.Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services as vestigate security breaches or incidents and implement corrective measures.Develop and maintain site security plans and business continuity strategies.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individuals status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful ApplicantThe ideal EHS Manager - Manufacturing will have the following qualifications: Bachelors degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Security Management, or a related field.5+ years of experience in EHS and security management within a manufacturing environment (medical device industry preferred).In-depth knowledge of OSHA, EPA, FDA, and ISO 13485 regulations.Certifications such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional), CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist), or CPP (Certified Protection Professional) are preferred.Experience with CAPA processes and risk management methodologies.Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Whats on OfferThe successful EHS Manager - Manufacturing will be rewarded with the following:Base Salary of $100,000-$135,000 depending on experienceBonus401K MatchMedical, Dental, VisionPTORelocation AssistanceTuition ReimbursementContactErin McQuillanQuote job refJN-022025-6669083
