About the CompanyMcCoy Construction & Forestry, a John Deere dealership group with 25 locations across the Midwest and East South Central Regions, has an opening for a Parts Counter Specialist.Pay range and compensation packageEarn $18.00 - $23.00/HourPaid Time Off-80 Hours in the First YearOngoing training by the best in the industryMedical, Prescription, Dental, Vision, Short- and Long-Term Disability401K with Employer Match$50,000 Life Insurance PolicyAbout the RoleA Parts Counter Specialist will perform a variety of customer service, marketing, promoting, advertising, and stocking duties related to the parts sales, receiving and delivery of parts and accessories that contribute to the efficient, safe, and profitable operation of the parts department. They will assist customers by properly identifying needed items, using electronic parts catalogs and other available resources. They will merchandise, invoice, and make any necessary entries to the inventory control system based on company guidelines.ResponsibilitiesFilling parts orders for customers which may require determining correct parts numbers and/or correct parts by using computers, service bulletins, etcOrdering parts from manufactures or outside vendors by preparing purchasing orders and correct documentationProcessing return parts from customers, issuing proper credit memos and re-stocking the partsKeeping customers informed on any back order situations of partsPricing partsWarehouse duties including pulling parts, stocking parts and conducting inventoryQualificationsEducation, Skills & Knowledge *****Have above average organizational skillsAbility to communicate effectively with both customers and internal membersMust be able to balance priorities in high pressure situationsPrior history with counter sales and/or parts and service is requiredGood computer skills - Basic familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel is requiredSuccessful candidates must possess the ability to multi-taskWillingness to learn internal computer systemsDriver's license with a good driving record requiredMust be able to lift 50lbs regularly and up to 100lbs occasionallyEqual Opportunity StatementAffirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer - Qualified women, minorities and people with disabilities encouraged to apply.
