The primary responsibility of a salesperson is to drive sales by engaging with potential customers, presenting products, closing deals, and ensuring customer satisfaction.As a Sales Representative at Rays Wholesale Meats, your main focus is leveraging your deep knowledge of our products and services to build relationships with customers and generate revenue. A Sales Representative must effectively explain the company's products or services through presentations, brochures, and other materials. They must also employ persuasive techniques as needed.Hours: Work hours can vary. This is not an 8-hour-a-day position. Calls are made Sunday through Thursday, with random phone calls arising due to outages, shortages, mis-picks, etc.Build Sales Leads: Through referrals and cold calling, Sales Representatives must create new sales leads and pursue potential clients. They also follow up on sales leads generated by other employees or departments within the company.Maintain Sales AccountsCustomer satisfaction and retention are key aspects of a Sales Representative's responsibilities. Sales Representatives must regularly call or visit existing clients to ensure they are satisfied with the product and services. To grow and maintain the account, the Sales Representative should introduce new products and services as they become available.Detail-OrientedEnsure production outputs meet Ray's Meats quality standards.Address any customer complaints promptly and take immediate action to resolve the issue.
