Senior Associate, Workout

A market-leading, award-winning direct lender and experienced private credit manager is looking to add a Senior Associate, Workouts, to the Broadly Syndicated Loans Group in New York, NY. The Broadly Syndicated Loans Group ("BSL") curates well diversified portfolios of high quality syndicated senior secured loans. The Senior Associate will work directly with the Head of BSL Workouts. Responsibilities include managing a portfolio of the Firms most troubled investments, primarily comprised of high quality syndicated senior secured loans, developing and implementing plans for maximizing recoveries and minimizing losses on the portfolio, and preparing, analyzing and modeling potential restructuring alternatives and developing analyses and what-if scenarios. The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications: Bachelors Degree, preferably with a major in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related financial discipline with an outstanding record of academic achievement4 to 6 years of experience in a finance function, preferably with distressed experience either within an investment banks restructuring group or within a buyside investment teamFormal credit training with experience analyzing stressed and distressed situationsStrong analytical, financial modeling and research skillsIf you meet the qualifications, please apply now!
