Financial Analyst - SaaS - Hybrid Our client, a NYC-based Advisory Firm that partners with high-growth start-ups, is searching for a Financial Analyst to join their team as part of their CFO Advisory group. You'll work on a combination of FP&A, forecasting, budgeting, and corporate accounting/month-end close-related work. This is a newly created role and will work alongside an established team of mentors and former management consultants and investment bankers.The company partners with several high-growth tech companies to assist with their growth, strategy, and overall financial organization as they scale. Their ideal profile would be someone with 2-3 years of experience in a corporate accounting or finance team at a small to mid-size company, who is eager to be more involved in traditional FP&A and strategic finance work.Location: Midtown, Manhattan - 3 days per week on-siteResponsibilities: Provide direction and guidance to the Accounting team as they perform their duties to ensure timely, accurate and consistent deliveryWork with the budgeting team to create a comprehensive overview of financial and operational performance.Contribute to the development and execution of go-to-market strategies, providing senior management with actionable recommendations and analyses.Aid in the creation and maintenance of annual budget and financial models, conducting scenario analyses by product for the entire business.Foster collaborative relationships throughout the broader organization.Conduct corporate accounting responsibilities surrounding the month-end close, financial reporting, fixed assets, consolidations, and technical accounting projectsAssist with the quarterly and yearly financial statements and financial controls auditsPrepare balance sheet and income statement variance analysis for management and assist with all financial reporting needsMonitor and analyze department work to improve and develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracyParticipate in various business processes and technology integration initiativesRequirements: 2-3 years' experience with a corporate accounting group, preferably within a tech/SaaS revenue modelProficiency in application of US GAAP.Ability to strategically approach challenges in a creative manner while prioritizing multiple deadlines and responsibilitiesStrong interpersonal skills with experience working cross-departmentally with multiple areas of an organizationProficiency with MS Excel, financial modeling tools a plusProficiency with large ERP systems and overall tech savviness a plusSalary: $90K - $100K plus 15% bonusThe above salary range represents Advices good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible base compensation range at the time of posting and is not reflective of the total compensation package, which may also include benefits, equity and other non-cash incentives.Please send your resume for immediate consideration to: wcummings@If you are in search of a new career opportunity but this role does not seem like the perfect fit, please feel free to send your resume to the email above and we would love to help find you opportunities more in line with your ideal situation.
