PE Secondaries (GP & LP) - Associate

***** Associate - PE Secondaries (both GP-led and LP secondaries)Our Client is a multi-billion global private equity firm headquartered in New York City specializing in secondary investments in leveraged buyout funds, as well as co-investments alongside those general partners. The firm seeks an Associate to assist in assessing potential secondary and co-investments, and in managing its existing portfolio.- Assist the investment team in conducting due diligence on various private equity funds and managers and assess the merits of investment opportunities- Review annual and quarterly reports and financial statements of LBO/venture/energy/mezzanine funds;- Analyze the long-term viability of portfolio companies, the market for their products/services, their financing needs, and the funds exit options;- Participate in deal meetings to determine price, structuring and negotiation tactics;- Portfolio management, quarterly and annual portfolio reporting;- Prepare investment analysis for presentation to the Investment Committee**- 1-4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity or investment management** candidates with 1-2 years of experience will be considered a Senior Analyst
