Chief Financial OfficerBear Lakes Country ClubSalary ***** $175,000-$200,000, based on experience Annual Bonus The ideal candidate maintains a strong accounting and operational control environment to protect assets,streamline operations, and increase profitability. Develop a collaborative work environment with the club's board, Finance Committee, and other managers to achieve budgeted goals and excel in enhancing business performance by boosting profits, identifying new business opportunities, and implementing innovative business programs and strategies.The Accounting responsibilities include preparing and reviewing financial statements, reconciling bank accounts, and handling banking items. They also involve monitoring funds, ensuring compliance with internal controls, and advising on cash flow issues. The role includes overseeing purchase orders, billing, banking procedures, and fund security.The Leadership role involves guiding the accounting staff, ensuring effective communication, and fostering teamwork. It includes conducting meetings, preparing reports, and communicating professionally with various stakeholders. Additionally, the role requires attending committee meetings, coordinating financial activities with the Board and committees, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.The Operation's role involves selecting and monitoring insurance programs and policies, serving as Trustee for the Club's 401(k) plan, and maintaining related records. It also includes evaluating software systems for various departments and ensuring the COO/General Manager has the necessary information to run operations efficiently and address members professionally.QualificationsEducation/*****Bachelors degree (B. A.) in accounting from a four-year college or university plus a minimum of five years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
