Tiello has partnered with an established AISC Steel Erector in the Modesto area in their search for an experienced Project Manager. The Project Manager will manage all activities associated with the construction of assigned project(s). This may include managing or coordination with a team of Project Coordinators, Project Administrators and other Project Managers.Job Title: Project ManagerProject Types: New construction, renovation of existing structures, and seismic retrofits. Projects range in size from single-level jobs to mid-rise story buildings to multi-structure projects.Key Responsibilities: Project Coordination: Simultaneously manage multiple projects by collaborating with senior management and field supervisors to meet strict deadlines.Stakeholder Interaction: Engage with clients, fabricators, and other relevant parties to discuss and oversee project details.Documentation and Compliance: Accurately interpret contract drawings and job specifications, ensuring all contractual terms and obligations are upheld.Scheduling and Resource Allocation: Develop and review project schedules, coordinate with departments and subcontractors to plan work and material deliveries, and ensure projects are productive and profitable.Monitoring and Reporting: Track project activities, address challenges such as changes and deficiencies, prepare management reports, and keep upper management and clients informed about project status.Site Oversight: Conduct site visits as necessary to verify accuracy, monitor progress, and ensure all aspects of projects are thoroughly documented.Requirements: General knowledge of fabrication and erection standards and procedures.General knowledge of AISC standards and AWS codes.Proven ability to read and interpret shop and design blueprint drawings.Proven ability to manage large multiple commercial and industrial projects.Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting stringent deadlines.5-10 years related experience as a Project/Construction Manager in the structural steel industry or 5 years related experience as a Project Coordinator/Engineer or Assistant Project Manager along with 3 years detailing/drafting/computer modelingApplicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.Tiello LLC is proud to be an Equal Opportunity EmployerAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.Your Right to Work - In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire.
