Job descriptionPosition Summary:As a Career Advisor you are often the first interaction our customers have with Medical Sales College. In this position you will be responsible for driving student enrollment by educating and advising candidates on the role of a medical sales professional, while understanding the candidate's background and career goals. Additionally, you will continue to support the candidate through acceptance, program selection, enrollment and be their liaison through program completion.Performance Expectations:Process applications and leads by serving as an advisor on the best pathways for entering the field of medical sales.Review and understand the candidates background to appropriately schedule next steps for student enrollment or internship opportunities.Drive student applications and enrollment via inbound, outbound and referral activity.Support the student through retention, enrollment and program attendance.Maintain all activity and records in the company's CRM (Hubspot).Meet performance expectations related to student enrollment goals, call activity, direct referrals and student experience.Possess a thorough understanding of Medical Sales College and the medical/surgical sales industry.Maintain a thorough knowledge of the school catalogs, company policies and best practices.Shall not misrepresent the nature of the school, facility, programs, expected outcome of training, employment, salary expectations, etc. in any way, either directly or indirectly, implied or omitted.Responsibilities:Timely calls to new leads and applications.Follow-up on all leads and applications as appropriate and assigned.Educate and advise candidates on the medical sales industry and Medical Sales College.Manage incoming leads from various sources.Work assigned hours to allow for call coverage.Support and advise students in the program selection and enrollment process.Serve as a student advocate "liaison" receiving feedback.Proactively research and identify new opportunities via outbound efforts utilizing word of mouth, LinkedIn, social media platforms, networking, direct referrals, etc.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree, or minimum 3+ years of successful service sales experience.High level of initiative, attention to detail with a desire to work and excel in a dynamic, fast paced environment.Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, working on a computer with heavy telephone interactions.Proficiency with modern technology and platforms such as (Google Drive and Docs, etc.)LinkedIn - portray yourself and the company accurately and maintain consistent utilization.Occasional after hours work required (evenings and weekends).Must be able to work 9am - 6pm EST.Position Location:This position will be on site at our Tampa, FL office.Occasional after hours work required (evenings and weekends).Compensation:$50,000 annuallyOpportunity for commissions based on performance.W-2 Benefits: Medical, Dental & Vision, Paid Time OffJob Type: Full-timePay: $50,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayExperience:Google Docs: 1 year (Preferred)CRM software: 1 year (Preferred)Ability to Commute:Tampa, FL 33602 (Required)Work Location: In person
