Project Manager - System Implementation (Hybrid, New York)We are seeking a proactive and results-oriented Project Manager to oversee the end-to-end implementation of a new reinsurance system for a leading global insurance provider. This hybrid role, based in New York, requires expertise in managing large-scale system implementations within the insurance or financial services sector. The ideal candidate will drive project success through strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and seamless integration across multiple regions.Key Responsibilities:Project Leadership & ExecutionDevelop and manage project plans, ensuring clear scope, timelines, resource allocation, and budget control.Define project objectives and success criteria in collaboration with key stakeholders.Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure smooth execution.Stakeholder CollaborationServe as the primary liaison between internal teams, external vendors, and senior leadership.Facilitate regular meetings, provide status updates, and ensure transparency throughout the project lifecycle.Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams to drive alignment and efficiency.System Implementation & IntegrationLead the deployment of the reinsurance system, ensuring compliance with industry best practices.Collaborate with technical teams to integrate the new system with existing infrastructure and manage data migration.Oversee testing, user training, and change management initiatives to support seamless adoption.Risk & Compliance ManagementIdentify and assess project risks, dependencies, and potential roadblocks.Develop and implement effective mitigation plans to minimize disruptions.Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies throughout the project lifecycle.Performance Tracking & ReportingMeasure project performance against key metrics and deliverables.Provide comprehensive reports, risk assessments, and post-implementation analyses.Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and process optimization.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
