Team members are required to be in the Miamisburg, Ohio office weekly on Monday & Tuesday. The Sales Development Representative position creates and secures qualified business opportunities to generate new revenue within LexisNexis. While performing the SDR role, incumbents have the ability to quickly grow their career and advance into an Account Executive role within 6-12 months.ResponsibilitiesWork closely with sales teams to schedule qualified demonstrations, meetings, build pipeline, and produce real business opportunities in accordance with approved sales management guidelinesProspect for new business through a high volume of cold calling and following up with prospects as previously identifiedIdentify qualified prospects and navigate company structures to identify key decision makers and influencersKeep accurate records in our CRM and build client profiles by updating client information and managing sensitive client and prospect dataRequirementsPossess prior lead generation or inside sales experienceHave experience with heavy cold calling volume (50-100 outbound/day) Be a great listener, quick thinker, and have the ability to work independently and as a team Possess a Bachelors degree or equivalent experienceDemonstrate solid verbal and written communication skillsBe detail oriented with the ability to follow defined processesAbility to use Microsoft Office applications (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.)
