Technical Coordinator, Volleyball

JOB DESCRIPTION This position will be a key contributor for the Vanderbilt Volleyball program, with the main objective of creating and maintaining vital systems that will assist in development and overall championship performance. The Technical Coordinator will also play a role in the creation of recruiting materials and will support current student-athletes through statistics, social content, video editing, and presentation.About the Work Unit Vanderbilt University's Athletics Department prepares student-athletes to become leaders and champions in life by placing the highest values on integrity, character, sportsmanship and victory. Vanderbilt is a charter member of the Southeastern Conference and is the conference's only private school. The university fields 17 varsity teams (6 men's teams and 11 women's teams), 15 of which compete in the Southeastern Conference.Duties and Responsibilities Create and manage a championship-level statistical and video system for the program Create and manage student-athlete technical system that assists in on-court and off-court development Capture and create championship-level recruiting content Assist with distribution of recruiting materials/content Assist in the coordination, management, and execution of summer camps Assist in the tech/media decisions for the facility Comply with all NCAA and SEC rules and regulations Other duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor's degree is necessary Prior experience with VolleyMetrics and VolleyStation is necessary. Coding of high-level matches and training experience is necessary. Basic photography and videography skills are necessary. Organized, detail oriented and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision is necessary.
