Our commitment to technology enables us to provide superior products and seamless distribution solutions.We are seeking a highlydetail-oriented and organized Sales Operations Coordinator to support our sales and logistics processes. This individual will be responsible for accurate order entry, pricing management, and coordination with distribution centers to ensure timely product delivery. The ideal candidate must be process-driven, highly communicative, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.Responsibilities:Order Processing: Proactively address customer and buyer needs, ensuring the efficient processing of sales orders. Review, update, and verify orders for pricing accuracy and correct item classification.Customer Communication: Maintain communication with buyers to ensure Purchase Orders (POs) are accurately updated, incorporating any revisions from buyers, clients, or internal teams.Order Fulfillment: Process approved customer orders within company software and confirm fulfillment.New Item Launches: Assist with the launch of new items for customers, ensuring all necessary setup and documentation are completed.Administrative Support: Support the Corporate Accounts Manager with administrative tasks related to new and existing customers/OpCos, inventory management, and operational coordination.Pricing Updates: Assist with quarterly pricing updates with buyers/OpCos, ensuring accurate system updates and clear communication of pricing changes.Inventory Management: Collaborate with the account manager, warehouse managers, logistics team, and demand planner to ensure product availability for orders and shipments.Shipping Coordination: Ensure the timely delivery of products to OpCos, assist in coordinating small parcel shipments, provide tracking information to clients, and resolve any shipping-related issues.Collaboration: Work closely with Finance, Fulfillment, Accounts Receivable, Warehouse, Logistics, and Procurement teams to resolve sales order-related inquiries and ensure seamless operations.Product Knowledge: Build a strong understanding of company products and policies related to order management.Required Experience & Skills:Experience: Proven experience in a sales support or administrative role. Experience in customer billing, invoicing, or order processing is highly preferred.Software Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office and Office 365. Familiarity with CRM, accounting, and project management software is a plus.Accounting & Inventory Knowledge: Basic understanding of accounting principles and inventory management.Independence & Initiative: Strong ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive operational efficiency.Client-Focused: Strong client-focused mindset with excellent communication skills for interacting with both internal teams and external clients.Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate clearly and professionally.Education/Certification:Required: Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Required: 1-2 years of customer service experience (call center, sales, or similar).Preferred: Bachelors degree in business or a related field.Preferred: 1-3 years of experience processing food distributor orders.This position isbased in St. Petersburg, Florida, and requiresin-office attendance.CMI is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
