Paralegal I

Yamaha has an excellent opportunity for a Paralegal I to join our Finance team in Cypress, CA. The Paralegal I will support the YMFUS legal function, including assistance with litigation, financing transactions, bankruptcy matters, fraud investigations, issues management, regulatory examinations, audits, and corporate governance.What you'll be doing:Litigation support, including assistance in preparation of correspondence, production requests, interrogatories, budget analysis, etc.Ongoing monitoring, review and documentation of bankruptcy filings and related matters.Corporate governance assistance, such as preparation of resolutions, committee minutes, and corporate filings.Assistance with fraud investigat9ons which may involve account and transaction analysis, document review, retention and coordination with internal stakeholders.Support for regulatory examinations and third-party audits, such as documentation production, issue tracking and remediation.Legal research around areas impacting business programs, regulatory changes, new product development, account servicing, etc.Perform other duties as required.What you'll need to be successful:Associates and High School education requiredABA approved paralegal certification0-3 years paralegal experience; related experience working in financial services and/or corporate legal department a plus.Able to work independently with a high degree of accuracy in a fast-paced environmentAble to work within a team setting and collaborate with team members and stakeholdersExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProficient in Office 365, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. and Adobe ProDon't meet every single requirement?
