Electrical Technician

Our client, a leader in the Manufacturing space located in Durham, NC is seeking an Electrical Technician to join their growing team! The following position is 6AM - 430PM M-F with rare weekends.The candidate will work as an Electrical Technician focusing on maintaining and improving electrical systems in a 24/7 industrial manufacturing environment. They will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance system reliability and performance by conducting preventive maintenance and troubleshooting electrical components such as PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs.Skill RequirementsMust-Have **Experience in electrical maintenance within an industrial environment.Proficiency in handling and troubleshooting issues related to PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), including Ladder Logic interpretation.Experience with systems like HMI (Human-Machine Interface) and understanding of communication protocols such as Profibus and Profinet.Ability to perform tasks related to maintaining systems like SCADA, power distribution, and variable frequency drives (VFDs).Strong teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with mechanical, process, and reliability colleagues.Familiarity with GE/Emerson or Siemens PLC, or Allen-Bradley experienceCCST Level I certification or willingness to obtain it.This company offers full ***Healthcare401KTuition ReimbursementPTO
