The funds objective is to enhance capital purchasing power by investing in businesses with sound long-term prospects at fair valuations.Role DescriptionThis is an internship role for a Hedge Fund Sales at Schroeder Capital Investments. The role involves day-to-day tasks such as identifying new business opportunities, developing new business relationships, conducting market research.Please note that this is an unpaid, in-office position based in NYC and requires a full-time, 5-day work week commitment.Schroeder Capital is a directional long/short equity fund with a goal of raising $100m by the end of the year. The individual in this role will be responsible for raising $10mm within the next 12 months. Upon successful completion of this fundraising goal, the role has the potential to become permanent.QualificationsBusiness Development and Client Relationship Management skillsStrong communication and presentation skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlinesBachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related fieldKnowledge of financial markets and investment strategies
