Location: Fremont, CAType: Full-TimeSalary: $65 - $75 per hourStart Date: ASAPAbout the Role:Are you a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer with a passion for driving multi-disciplinary projects? Join a leading automotive company as an Infrastructure Design Manager with a mechanical focus. In this role, you will own and drive the full design and engineering efforts for construction and infrastructure development from concept to build. If you are detail-oriented, highly organized, and have a knack for pulling teams together to achieve high-quality results, we want to hear from you!Key Responsibilities:Design Management: Organize and manage design reviews, construction design packages, and deliverables to support all aspects of construction, including scope of work, kick-off, MDR, 30%, 60%, 90%, IFP, and IFC.Strategy Development: Define strategies for design and engineering deliverables, including construction and permit packages.Project Ownership: Own the full design and engineering efforts for construction and infrastructure development from concept to delivery to meet aggressive goals.Documentation Management: Manage permitting and construction documents, including transmittals and RFIs.Schedule Coordination: Coordinate project schedules with the construction team based on procurement and construction requirements for overall project success.Stakeholder Engagement: Understand stakeholder requirements and translate them into project deliverables.Technical Planning: Manage all aspects of technical planning, scope development, change management, programming, design, and engineering services during construction.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with various cross-functional teams to ensure overall program alignment.Project Delivery Methods: Understand different project delivery methods, including design-bid-build, integrated project development, and fast-track projects.Innovative Methodologies: Implement innovative engineering and design methodologies to support aggressive program and construction schedules.Required Skills and Experience:Minimum 5 years of professional experience in mechanical engineering.Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.Experience with IFB, IFP, and IFC packages.Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam.Nice to Have Skills and Experience:Experience with Pipe-flo.Experience working with HVAC or hazardous spaces.Why Join Us?Competitive Pay: Earn $65 - $75 per hour.Innovative Projects: Be part of a team working on cutting-edge automotive infrastructure projects.Career Growth: Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.Collaborative Environment: Work with a supportive and dynamic team.
