As a Sales / Service Team member you will wear many hats, including learning consultative selling techniques to attract, retain and sell insurance products. Clients will rely on you for honest, expert advice that will require proactive problem-solving skills, the ability to promote brand awareness and participation in agency and community events. The role will include both service and sales responsibilities.Duties Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their insurance needsConduct thorough analysis of client requirements and recommend appropriate insurance solutionsEngage in sales administration tasks, including managing client accounts and documentationUtilize telemarketing techniques to reach potential clients and generate leadsCollaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance customer service.Active involvement in the local community and social eventsExcellent verbal communication skills, both in person and over the phoneWritten communication with clients, underwriters and corporate employeesRole Requirements:The ability to work independently, plan, set priorities and organize workExperience with software applications, Microsoft Office Suite, Internet Explorer, etc.Experience with social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Google+, LinkedIn, etc.Must possess or be willing to obtain (within 60 days) proper insurance licensing to sell, solicit or negotiate insurance products.A valid drivers licenseCompensation & Benefits:Competitive hourly pay, plus commission and/or bonusesPaid trainingPaid Time OffMatching 401K
