An international industrial machinery manufacturer in the Cincinnati, OH area is seeking a Controls Designer who is responsible for supporting clients in the development of automation systems.Controls Designer **Design and modify equipment for building and assembling electrical componentsAssist with creation of wiring programs, wire routing schematics and documentation of systemsCreate and modify schematics using AutoCAD ElectricalPanel design including selection of components and creating purchase ordersSupervise control system construction and installationTravel to customer sites facilities following installation for modifications and troubleshooting of systems when necessaryControls Designer **Prefer at least an Associate's degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experiencePrefer 5 years of experience designing control panels for automation systemsExperience with AutoCAD ElectricalPLC and HMI programming is a plusRobot programming (FANUC preferred) is a plusAbility to travel 10 percentThis position includes manufacturing and warehousing work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, lift in excess of 50 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear.
