For example the client might be looking for a Firewall partner. This resource would have to understand what a firewall is, understand if the vendor has what the client is looking for, and then bring the right people into the meetings later on to ensure the customer gets exactly what they want in terms of specifics.This resource will also be responsible for looking at the contract, understanding them, understand what to look, and experience negotiating.Looking for someone that has that baseball in IT, experience working with and negotiating vendors, and has a great personality.JOB RESPONSIBILITIESUnder the direction and oversight of the Portfolio Manager:· Supports the day-to-day operations of the Office of the CIO - Vendor and Portfolio Management team· Coordinates and ensures team SLAs and activities are being addressed appropriately· Supports the Portfolio Manager by addressing incoming inquiries or issues and escalates as appropriate.· Supports oversight of vendor contracts and renewals.· Supports oversight of legal intake and the legal review process· Tracks vendor expenses and identifies and highlights anomalies· Using different data sources demonstrates the ability to create meaningful reporting· Create PowerPoint decks/presentations for management/executive audience· Proven ability to interact and communicate with all levels of management, especially leadership· Ability to identify and develop solutions for continuous process improvement· Ability to lead, facilitate, and coordinate meetings, as needed and directed by the Portfolio Manager· Represents client in an ethical and business-like professional manner in all interactions with growers, co-workers, suppliers, customers and the business community.· Other responsibilities, as assignedCANDIDATE PROFILERequirements· Bachelor's degree in related field.· 7+ years' related experience· Microsoft Excel (Proficiency: Advanced)· Microsoft PowerPoint (Proficiency: Advanced)· Microsoft Visio (Proficiency: Intermediate)· Experience with ServiceNow SPM, ITSM and SAM· Experience with Project Portfolio Management and ITIL frameworkPreferred Qualifications & Leadership Competencies· Strong project management and planning capabilities· Financial/Business analysis techniques and strong problem-solving abilities· Excellent written and oral business communications skills· Strong ability to interface/communicate with all levels of management, especially leadership· Self-starter with the ability to manage time effectively, work independently, and deal with ambiguity· Critical thinking and problem-solving skills· Detail-oriented and attention to quality· Experience with ServiceNow ITSM, SPM, SAM· ITIL, PMP certification a plus· Drives Results· Collaborates: Works with a variety of colleagues, inside and/or outside of client, seeking win-wins solutions.· Courage: Tackles difficult issues timely with optimism and transparency.
