Senior Revenue Accountant

CV Resources is partnering with our SaaS client to find an experienced and driven Senior Revenue Accountant to join their growing team. As a Senior Revenue Accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606 standards, alongside supporting various accounting processes that drive business success.Why Work Here:Summer Fridays - Enjoy a half day every week during the summer months!On-site Barista - Fresh coffee made just for you.Employee Recognition Awards - They celebrate your hard work and dedication.Pet-Friendly Office - Bring your furry friends to work!5% 401k Match - They support your long-term financial growth.Unlimited PTO - Take the time you need to recharge.Key Responsibilities:Oversee and manage the revenue recognition process for the company in accordance with ASC 606, ensuring accuracy and compliance.Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including revenue-related disclosures.Partner closely with cross-functional teams (Sales, Legal, Finance) to assess and document customer contracts and determine appropriate revenue recognition.Reconcile revenue accounts and ensure accuracy in reporting.Drive process improvements and automation within the revenue cycle to enhance efficiency and reduce manual work.Support audits and external reporting, providing detailed explanations and documentation of revenue recognition processes.Review and refine internal controls and procedures related to revenue recognition to ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies.Support ad-hoc reporting and analysis as needed by management.Qualifications:3+ years of experience in accounting, with a strong focus on revenue recognition (preferably in the SaaS industry).Extensive knowledge and experience applying ASC 606 in a SaaS environment.Prior experience with NetSuite or similar cloud ERP systems strongly preferred.Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and accounting principles.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Detail-oriented with a strong ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.If you're ready to take the next step in your career and be part of a dynamic, innovative company, we encourage you to apply.
