Job Title: Office AssistantLocation: Washington, DC (Onsite)Industry: Business Management ConsultingPay: $22 - $25/hour (Contract-to-hire opportunity)About Our Client:Addison Group is working with a growing consulting firm in downtown Washington, DC, to find an Office Assistant to support their expanding office space. This role is ideal for a highly organized, customer-service-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment.Job Description:The Office Assistant will be responsible for front desk reception, office coordination, and administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations. This role requires strong multitasking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interact with various teams and external visitors. The position is 100% onsite, Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM.Key Responsibilities:Manage front desk operations, including greeting visitors and handling main phone linesOversee office security, including issuing and managing access fobs and badgesCoordinate facility maintenance, process service requests, and liaise with property managementMaintain inventory for office supplies and kitchen essentials, ensuring a well-stocked workspaceProcess invoices and expense reports related to office operationsSchedule and coordinate conference room reservations, troubleshooting AV equipment as neededSupport IT-related needs, such as managing office equipment inventory and troubleshooting minor issuesOrganize mail distribution, package handling, and courier shipmentsAssist with onboarding new hires, including setting up access credentials and coordinating workspace assignmentsSupport office events, meetings, and catering needsQualifications:2-4 years of experience in office administration, front desk, or customer service rolesProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general technical aptitudeFluency in Spanish (required for communication with key office personnel)Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environmentProfessional, personable, and adaptable to working with a variety of personalitiesBachelor's degree preferred but not requiredAdditional Details:Start Date: March 2025Contract Length: At least 3 months, with a strong potential for permanent hireInterview Process: Multiple rounds, including virtual and onsite interviews with office leadershipLocation: Downtown Washington, DC (655 15th St NW)Hours: 40 hours/week (some flexibility available)Perks:Opportunity for a contract-to-hire role in a growing officeExposure to a corporate consulting environment with career growth potentialCollaborative and dynamic workplace cultureDirect involvement in office expansion and operational improvementsThis Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
