Customer Service Representative

Position **We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a background in a laboratory or healthcare setting, strong communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional client service. This role will primarily focus on client services, with additional responsibilities in the Accessioning Department as needed.Key *Provide exceptional client service by addressing inquiries, handling lower-level communication with clients, and ensuring a positive experience.Document patient records accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards.Conduct outbound calls to clients for gathering and confirming patient records.Submit pick-up requests to logistics for specimen collection and ensure timely follow-up.Perform clerical tasks including faxing, emailing, and scanning essential documents while maintaining confidentiality.Handle incoming phone calls, providing accurate information and redirecting inquiries to the appropriate personnel when necessary.Enter patient information and related data into our system (Path Central) with precision; training provided as needed.Collaborate with multiple departments and take direction from various sources to achieve organizational goals.Assist with tasks in the Accessioning Department at the end of the shift or as needed, utilizing any prior experience in this area.****Prior experience in a laboratory setting is strongly preferred; experience in client service or healthcare is also advantageous.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally.Familiarity with medical terminology is required.Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks efficiently.Strong typing skills (minimum of 40+ WPM).Ability to take direction from multiple sources effectively and prioritize tasks according to urgency.Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing accurate and timely documentation.
