This is a unique opportunity for a proactive problem-solver with strong interpersonal and organizational skills to join a dynamic Talent Team dedicated to attracting, hiring, and retaining top-tier legal talent while contributing to firmwide initiatives that shape the future of our workforceThe Legal Recruiting Coordinator will be a key member of the West Coast recruiting team, supporting law student, post-clerk, lateral associate, and special counsel hiring. This role will also assist in the planning and execution of the summer associate program, recruiting events, and other initiatives that contribute to building a strong talent pipeline. The Coordinator will report to the West Coast Legal Recruiting Manager and work closely with attorneys, candidates, and firm leadership.Essential Job FunctionsManage the interview process - Coordinate candidate applications, schedule interviews, and facilitate candidate communications.Support law student hiring efforts - Assist with campus interview programs, law school outreach, and relationships with career services offices.Coordinate recruiting events - Help organize networking receptions, outreach initiatives, and panel discussions with firm attorneys.Coordinate the summer associate program - Support orientation, program logistics, work assignment tracking, and firm events.Facilitate onboarding - Ensure a smooth transition for new hires, including associates, summer associates, and special counsel.Maintain recruiting data and reporting - Update the applicant tracking system and generate reports as needed.Qualifications and RequirementsBachelor's degree required.Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with candidates, attorneys, and staff.At least 1-3 years of experience in recruiting coordination, event planning, or a related field a plus.Experience in a law firm or professional services environment a plus.Attention to detail and the ability to manage confidential information with discretion.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and experience with applicant tracking systems (such as viDesktop) preferred.Flexibility to adjust hours as needed to support recruiting events and business needs.Jenner & Block LLP is an equal opportunity employer. The anticipated pay range for this role is $65,000-$85,000 in Los Angeles and $75,000-$95,000 in San Francisco. The actual offered rate for this position will be determined based on several factors, including qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and consideration of internal equity.
