Opportunity for a Customer Service Representative/Logistics Coordinator position with our client in Van Nuys. This company Manufactures and Distributes Paper products. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual who can efficiently manage order entry, transportation, and logistics operations, while ensuring cost-effectiveness and high-quality customer service.Key Responsibilities:Accurately enter and fulfill customer orders while ensuring cost-effective transportation and on-time delivery.Become an expert on customer needs and product details, serving as a valuable resource for both Royalty and customers.Negotiate and process customer RMAs and resolve any issues related to production schedules or carriers.Utilize customer and carrier electronic portals and systems effectively.Oversee contracts, manage blanket purchase orders, and confirm Proof of Delivery (POD) and delivery times.Negotiate and maintain optimal freight rates with current brokers and alternative carriers.Monitor and report on weekly operations and monthly performance metrics.Measure performance against customer KPIs, including budget and on-time delivery goals, and implement strategies for improvement.Contribute to team process improvements and cross-train with colleagues to provide backup and relief as needed.Requirements:Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Logistics, or a related field.A minimum of three years of experience in B2B customer service or logistics.Experience with ERP software (QuickBooks Enterprise, Acumatica, or similar).Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Benefits:Health, dental, and vision insurancePaid vacation and sick days401(k) planJob Type: Full-time (40 hours per week)Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts during the day$25-28 Hourly depending on ExperienceWe believe this role is an excellent fit for someone who is proactive, customer-focused, and driven to enhance operational efficiency.
