Commercial Door & Hardware Installer - Austin

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Access Control Installer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the installation of Frames, Doors and Hardware, with the ability to manage projects from start to finish. This role requires hands-on expertise in various construction techniques and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members. Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesInstalling/servicing door closers, power operators, exit devices, doors, frames, accessories, etc.Perform diagnostic services for the full range of mechanical and electrical architectural and security hardware.Install and service high security key systems, locksets, electrical locks and access control systems as well as door strikes, mag locks, and electrified hardwareInstallation of new commercial doors/frames/hardware and repairs to existing commercial doors/frames/hardwareMaintain technical knowledge of industry changes to products and codes.Some door prep workPhysical *****Lift and carry objects of varying weights, with and/or without assistance and/or reasonable accommodationFrequent walking, standing, bending, twisting, crouching, kneeling, reaching, and liftingClimb and stand on stairs, ladders, sometimes for extended periods of timeFrequent lifting, pushing, pulling of materials, tools, equipment, etc.Exposure to dust, fumes, paint, varnish, drywall, caulk, and other sealants and finishesWork with hands/tools in uncovered/unshaded areas/non air conditioned (A/C) environmentsQualificationsMinimum 5+ years' experience in basic door and hardware installation and use of appropriate tools required for executing work.Minimum 5+ years experience with doors and hardware in commercial applications.
