Job Title: Project Manager / Project Coordinator Location: Minneapolis, MN (Preferred) or Denver, COWork Type: Hybrid (Tuesday - Thursday Onsite, Monday & Friday Remote)Duration: 12 Months (Long-Term Project through 2027)Project Overview:Rolling out a Private LTE network to support fixed assets such as meters and pressure gauges that utilize SIM cards for communication. This initiative aims to reduce costs by transitioning away from external cellular providers. The Project Manager/Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting the Program Manager and ensuring the successful execution of this deployment.Key Responsibilities:Assist in the deployment of a Private LTE network, including cellular towers (RAN sites) and core network infrastructure.Work with external vendors and internal teams to develop materials lists and track equipment.Manage quotes, purchase orders (POs), and the receipt and close-out process.Maintain tracking databases and spreadsheets for project management.Oversee and coordinate the deployment of multiple tower/cell site builds.Support financial coordination by working with the finance team to close out POs and finalize site deployments.Collaborate with field technicians, internal stakeholders, and third-party vendors to ensure smooth execution.Required Skills & Qualifications:2-3 years of experience in a Project Manager / Project Coordinator role.Experience working with vendors and managing project materials.Background in cellular network deployment or infrastructure projects.Proficiency in Excel and SAP (ECC) with T-codes.Familiarity with project management tools such as Microsoft Project and Jira.Understanding of ServiceNow for project tracking and change management.Strong organizational and communication skills.Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.Preferred Experience:Experience with companies such as Black & Veatch, Burns & McDonnell, Lockard & White, American Tower, or MNP Communications.Background in working with utility companies or large public carriers.Work Environment & Culture:Highly collaborative team environment consisting of engineers, architects, analysts, and field technicians.Cross-functional work with deployment teams, finance, and external vendors.Structured onboarding process with an estimated 3-6 month ramp-up period and full effectiveness expected within 9 months.Work Schedule:Standard full-time hours (8 AM - 5 PM).Occasional overtime may be available but is not required.Less than 5% travel may be required for site visits and team meetings (fully reimbursable).Why Join Energy?Be part of a cutting-edge initiative deploying a Private LTE network for critical infrastructure.Work in a well-established and reputable company with opportunities for career growth.Engage in a collaborative environment with exposure to high-impact technology projects.Gain valuable experience with third-party vendors and utility deployment standards.Interview & Hiring Timeline:Interviews to be conducted as soon as 3/6 - 3/7.Virtual video interviews via Microsoft Teams.Expecting 1-2 interview rounds with a panel of two interviewers.Candidate feedback provided within two weeks post-interview.Ideal start date within the month to facilitate knowledge transfer from the exiting resource.Position Conversion Potential:High likelihood of extension with the opportunity for top performers to transition into other projects.Interested candidates are encouraged to apply immediately to be considered for this exciting opportunity!
